Dukan.pk, an 8-month-old e-commerce startup, is continuing its phenomenal growth and announced today that 200,000 small businesses in Pakistan have now built full-stack e-commerce stores through its platform.
Just two months ago, the platform had clocked 100,000 online sellers.
Dukan is committed to helping local sellers by providing an easy local language platform to digitize their businesses and connect them with their suppliers.
Dukan has made it easier for sellers to get new orders and reach markets beyond their physical proximity by interweaving tools like its AI-powered ad tech engine, through which sellers can easily run sophisticated ad campaigns on social media.
Led by a team of tech veterans, Dukan aims to inspire, educate and connect the growing community of emerging e-commerce entrepreneurs. Dukan believes that anyone with a smartphone has the ability to make an impact.
Dukan is on a mission to make everyone an entrepreneur by providing a platform to digitize their business with inventory management, accounting, and khata tracking, online payments, delivery options, digital loans, and advertising technology to increase orders through social media.
Monis Rahman, Co-founder and CEO of Dukan said, “We are thrilled to see the strong response to our platform from local sellers. Helping MSMEs in Pakistan join the rapidly growing new economy is critical to the growth of the country.”
“Connecting small sellers through the power of technology is the fastest way to uplift an important segment of our economy,” added Co-founder and Head of Technology Muhammad Imran.
