Sindh Rangers have announced a Mobile application called SOS Alert for public safety in Karachi that will alert rangers about any emergency. The application was introduced through a statement by Pakistan Sindh Rangers on Sunday.

The app is being launched to increase the sense of security among the people of Karachi in the wake of rising crime rates in the city

According to the statement, the app will be available for hospitals, banks, educational institutes, business communities, and civilians from other sectors. However, the facility will not be provided to everyone in the city as there are millions of residents.

As mentioned before, anyone registered on the SOS alert app will be able to alert rangers about emergencies. Officials at the Sindh Rangers facility will then send the nearest patrol to the emergency location via their control rooms.

Sindh Rangers are committed to providing security to citizens from different institutions in accordance with the requirements of modern times. The rangers are urging people to report all emergencies and incidents on time so the officials can timely respond and eradicate crime.
