Xiaomi’s ecological chain company Ningbei recently launched its Ningmei Rubik’s Cube Mini Computer Host for crowdfunding. The device comes with reasonable computing power and is meant for people on the go.

Design and Construction

As the name suggests, the computer host is as small as a Rubik’s cube and can easily fit in your pocket. It measures 62 x 62 x 42mm, less than half of the area of ​​Xiaomi’s Mi 10 smartphone, and weighs only 145g.

Internals

A quad-core Intel J4125 processor powers the device with a turbo frequency of 2.7GHz topped with an Intel UHD600 graphic processing unit, 8 GB RAM, and 256GB M.2 solid-state hard drive. It is also equipped with an efficient heat dissipation design.

For connectivity, it comes with an HDMI port that can be used to connect it to monitors, TVs, and projectors. The port supports 4K high-definition output.

Apart from this, the computer host also packs a USB-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, a TF card slot, a 3.5mm audio jack, and supports Bluetooth connection, as well as 2.4G/5G dual-band Wi-Fi

The Ningmei Rubik’s Cube Mini Computer Host comes with a starting price of $149 for the 6GB/128GB variant and $186 for the 8GB/256GB variant. It is currently available for crowdfunding on Youpin.
