Smartphone makers are racing to release their flagship devices in early 2020 with all the latest premium specifications including the Snapdragon 865, 120Hz screen refresh rate, LPDDR5 RAM, etc.
The Oppo Find X2 is now confirmed to feature these specifications thanks to the latest tweet from the company’s CEO Brian Shen. He has revealed that the phone will come with a 2K screen, 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch response, similar to the recently released Galaxy S20 series
The display will have support for HDR, a maximum brightness level of 1200 nits, and will also cover 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
Previous leaks have revealed that the Oppo Find X2 will have a 6.5-inch OLED display with a tiny punch-hole cutout at the top left corner for the front camera. It will feature the Snapdragon 865 SoC with the company’s custom-developed M1 co-processor.
The primary camera sensor is expected to be the new 48MP Sony IMX689 with improved autofocus. It will likely be accompanied by an ultrawide sensor, a telephoto sensor, and a macro lens.
The Oppo Find X2 is rumored to arrive on February 22 just days ahead of the MWC 2020 event.
