Chinese manufacturers are known for putting in massive batteries in their smartphones. Vivo currently has a number of mid-range phones with over 5,000 mAh battery and the same goes for Oppo. Xiaomi also sticks to 4,000 mAh even for the most affordable of phones.
HiSense is another Chinese manufacturer that already has phones with massive battery lives, but their latest and greatest, King Kong 6, is on a whole new level.
The phone itself has a 4,500 mAh battery, but it comes with a unique phone case that puts in another 5,510 mAh to make up a total of 10,010 mAh.
The phone has pins at the back that connect it with the case for more battery life, essentially making the case a convenient power bank. The high battery capacity on top of mid-range specifications should help the phone last at least 5 days on a single charge.
HiSense King Kong 6 has a 6.52-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a waterdrop notch at the top. There are two different variants for memory configuration – 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB. The triple camera setup at the back has a 13MP sensor and two additional 2MP sensors. The front camera inside the waterdrop notch is an 8MP shooter.
Other specifications along with pricing and availability will be revealed soon. However, since King Kong 6 is a Chinese mid-range smartphone, it is expected to be fairly affordable.
