The Nokia G50 5G is launching soon as its cheapest 5G phone to date. The phone accidentally appeared on Nokia Mobile France’s Instagram account, which revealed official images as well as specifications for the handset.
The Instagram post has now been removed, but not before screenshots were grabbed and the promo video was downloaded.
The image shows the Nokia G50 in two color options, Blue and Midnight Sun. The handset has a waterdrop notch selfie camera and a thick bezel at the bottom. The rear panel features a circular triple camera setup which also includes an LED flash. The fingerprint sensor will be mounted on the side atop the power button.
The translation of this post reveals that the Nokia G50 5G will have an incredible battery life (without revealing numbers) and will have 5G compatibility. Its main camera will be a 48MP shooter.
Previous reports have shown that the G50 will come with the Snapdragon 480 5G with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage variants. It will boot Android 11 and will also feature another color option called Forest Black.
Since the phone has already appeared in official images, it is highly likely that the launch is very soon.
