Xiaomi has confirmed a launch event for August 10 where the brand will unveil new smartphones, tablets, and gadgets. The company also confirmed that the heavily anticipated Mi Mix 4 will become official at this event.
Xiaomi has shared a teaser poster on Weibo for the Mi Mix 4’s announcement on Tuesday next week.
The teaser does not include any photos of the handset or its specifications, but thanks to recent TENAA listings, we know that it carries a model number 2106118C. It will have 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
Additionally, popular tipster Digital Chat Station has shared another leak on Weibo which shows the alleged display panel for the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4. This leak shows hands-on footage of the phone’s under-display camera.
The display is fully illuminated at first, but as soon as it turns off we can see the punch-hole selfie camera that will sit behind the panel.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is expected to sport the Snapdragon 888 with 120W fast charging on top of a 5,000 mAh battery. Leaked renders have also revealed a secondary display on the back next to a quad-camera setup similar to the Mi 11 Ultra.
Xiaomi’s PR confirmed last week that the Mi Mix 4 will boot MIUI 12.5 out of the box.
