Realme has a mysterious plan in the works that has just been leaked courtesy of the popular tipster Digital Chat Station. The plan is reportedly called the “Moon Landing Plan” and it may involve the launch of new products.
The tipster adds how Realme has become a leading brand in China when it comes to online sales. The company had recently announced 1 million sales during the recent 618 Sale in China. This also made Realme the second-best selling brand when it comes to Android phones in China.
We are yet to receive information on what Realme’s internal “Moon Landing Plan” is but there have been a few hints in the past.
The company has been gearing up to launch new products recently including laptops and tablets. These were teased online by the CEO of Realme India and Europe, Madhav Sheth. This shows how the company is looking to become a lifestyle brand rather than just a smartphone company.
Realme also took the stage during the recent Global 5G Summit hosted by Qualcomm and others. During the event, the company announced its plan to launch up to 20 5G phones by the end of 2022 to reach 10 million 5G users by the end of 2024.
We will update this space as soon as there is more info on the company’s plans.
